Read Well
Homework
The homework that comes home with your
child after they pass each unit is SO very important. It often
determines their success in subsequent units. Please have
your child take the time to read the homework stories daily to
help improve their reading fluency. They also need to cut out the
colored flashcards so that they can practice the words that are
(repeatedly) in our stories. Thanks for your support at home!
This reading is one of the most important things you can do
with your child.
Counting to 100 (or even 120 and beyond)
Please
continue to practice counting to 100 with your students and even
see how high they can get! We count in a variety of crazy voices to
make counting fun.
Online images
There are four
galleries. Make sure to check them all out! You have to scroll down
to get to them and you have to scroll over when you are in each
gallery to get to all of the pictures. There are a lot in some of
them. I hope you enjoy them!
P.E.
Please
remember that on Wednesdays, we are scheduled for PE. Children
should wear shoes and clothing that is appropriate for running.
Bus riders
If your child
normally rides the bus on any given day, your child will be
directed to do just that unless I have a note that says otherwise.
This is our school policy.
