Math
Please practice telling and solving
simple addition and subtraction story problems. We do this in
class, but it is fun to find real-world problems for your students
to make up and work out so they can see how they are applicable.
This is a great activity to do while shopping, driving, cooking, or
even walking.
Reading
Please read to/with your child for at least 20 minutes
daily. I cannot stress enough how important this
is. Students should be reading a variety of books in addition
to reviewing the light blue sight word flashcards, Read Well
flashcards, and Read Well magazines and stories. Monthly Book-It
Logs are due at the end of each month.
Alphabet Book
Please have your student work on this book slowly, taking their
time to do their best work. Labeling is important and I won't
collect these until the day before Memorial Day Weekend
(Thursday).
