Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to Room 229! We have a fantastic year ahead of us. I am looking forward to meeting all my students and their families. I am eager to develop meaningful partnerships that will aid in the success of each student.
Here’s a quick note about myself. I was born and raised in Puyallup. I grew up in the Puyallup School District and graduated from Rogers High School. I received my teaching degree from Pacific Lutheran University. I taught third grade for five years in the Bethel School District. Then I taught 5th grade for three years at Woodland Elementary. After that, I was the Resource Room teacher at Stewart Elementary and then I taught 4th grade at Spinning Elementary, and I am very much looking forward to teaching 6th grade AGAIN this year at Edgerton. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Pierre, and our sons Sean and Tyler. I also have coached gymnastics at Puyallup High School and enjoy running and outdoor activities.
Thank you for your support. Please feel free to stop by and visit us often at school. Our door is always open.
