Welcome back!!! I hope everyone
had a great Winter Break and is looking forward to the rest of the
year. I know I am.
Don't forget that homework needs to be done every night and brought
back the following day. If a student does not bring in their
homework two days in a row, they will go to Study Hall.
-IXL.com is a great resource to
help your child with math. If you do not have their username or
password, let me know.
-Tumblebooks.com is a site where books are read to students. You
can check out the site for free.

My
name is Amber Fobes and I will be spending the next year with your
student! I graduated from Central Washington University in
2009 and have been a part of The Puyallup School District for the
past three years. Last year was my first year teaching 1st Grade
and I love the kids and the skills and curriculum I get
to teach!
A few things about
me:
* I love spending time with my
friends and family. I have three nieces and one nephew
that I could spend all day with!
* Some of my hobbies are scrapbooking, watching sports, playing
sports, rockclimbing and hiking.

I could live in Disneyland if they let me. It is definitely my
"happy place!"
*I went to Karshner Elementary and have lived in Puyallup my
entire life=)
