little about Mrs.
Gagnon:
I am a Central Washington University graduate (Go Wildcats!) with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language. I received my Masters Degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. I am highly qualified to teach K-8 students, reading, and writing. This is my 5th year of teaching and my fourth year as a proud Northwood Knight! I grew up in the Puyallup School District and graduated from Rogers HS; in fact, both my husband and I went to Northwood! I also was a Quest kiddo when I was in school, too! I love working here and being a part of the community I grew up in. Northwood is a special place with lots of special people! Teaching is such a passion of mine, and I am so blessed to spend my days teaching such sweet kids! I live with my husband, Justin, in Bonney Lake. In April our beautiful sweet daughter, Harper, was born! She is the light of our lives and we are SO in love with her! I love spending time with my family ~ they are my top priority in life! In our free time we love to go on walks and runs, camping, snowboarding, boating, wakeboarding, travel, watch movies, hang out with our Bible study group, and spend time with our families and friends. Other activities I enjoy include reading, yoga, coffee, collecting shoes, baking and cooking, decorating, throwing dinner parties, and teaching children. Here are some of my favorite things: Color: Green Season: Summer (but Fall is a close second!) Ice Cream: Pistachio Food: Spaghetti and Rice Board Game: Life or Monopoly Card Game: Hearts Dessert: Pumpkin Pie (Anything, really! I have a huge sweet tooth!) Animal: Penguin Sport: Basketball Book: Water for Elephants or East of the Sun Exercise Activity: Yoga & Bosu classes Music Artist: Jack Johnson; Coldplay Place to Vacation: Lake Chelan, WA Item to Collect: Coffee mugs and Christmas ornaments This is going to be an AMAZING school year! I am so excited to learn and play with all of you!
