Click DOCUMENTS tab at the left to access current use MIDI files, performance excerpts and a free MIDI program file to download to your computer. Create a folder to save downloaded MIDI files to your computer.
To install the free MIDI program, you may need to run the program as an "administrator"... Save the program to your desktop. Right Click on the program icon before installing and click Run as administrator. Double-click program icon to install. After the program is installed, click the “CONTROL”, “KARAOKE” and “OUTPUT” buttons to access screens that control tempo, volume, parts listing, etc.
Another useful Midi player can be downloaded free
from... Save "MidiPlay" program to your desktop. Right Click on the program icon to install. Click "Output devices" and choose "All Output Devices On" (You may need to click different boxes to work with your sound card.) "Open" a midi file through the program to play. If you get a “Midi Play Warning” screen, follow on screen instructions to adjust settings. OR click Ignore. Select "PLAY" to choose which voice is playing loudest. You can also click on the 2nd of the two music staff ICON’s in the menu bar and watch the score as notes are played. |
