Is transportation provided?
In the morning, parents are responsible for transporting students to their neighborhood school. Transportation between schools is provided by district buses. In the afternoon, students ride a district bus back to the neighborhood school in time to take their normal bus runs home.  Students who normally attend the host school may remain supervised until standard dismissal time.  Specific bus runs and times are determined by the Transportation Department during the summer months.

What time does school start?
The start and end times of the regional classes is staggered from the usual school schedule to allow buses time to transport students to and from the neighborhood schools. Students do not miss any instructional time; the amount of time in class is the same as a normal classroom. The start and end times for each of the eight regional schools are posted on the Home page.

How many classrooms are at each host school?
Each host school has two QUEST Regional classrooms – a 3rd/4th grade classroom and a 5th/6th grade classroom.

How is information shared?
Information will be posted on the QUEST Swift site.
Parents may contact Nancy Velazquez at the QUEST Office, 841-8751
Information is also shared in the ABC newsletter and web page. (see below)

Is there a parent group?
Yes, the Academic Booster Club (ABC) is a local organization providing information and support for families with highly capable students. They provide financial support to Puyallup classrooms, arrange family activities, and advocate for highly capable students at the local and state levels.  Visit their web site at questabc.org for details.
