 Welcome to the "Storm" Library! Our Mission: To ensure that students are effective, independent users and producers of ideas and information. Library Staff: Mrs. Straessle, Teacher-Librarian Mrs. Miller, Library Assistant Library Catalog: Access to the online library catalog, including books & your library account. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:10 a.m. - 2:20 p.m. Wednesday 8:50 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Students can come to the library at any time with a pass from a teacher, with a class, or on their own before or after school. Check Out Procedures: Books may be checked out for 3 weeks. A student may have 2 items (books or magazines) checked out at a time. Library materials returned late will be fined 10 cents a day. Fines of more than $3.00 must be paid before any more books can be checked out. Library Statistics: Stahl Library has approximately 7,000 books and 16 magazine subscriptions. Several online databases, Internet, MS Word, and Powerpoint are available to students. We have 23 computers in the library for student use. Also, check out the Library webpage on the School Website. DISCUSSION: Answer a question about reading. DOCUMENTS: You will find handouts and/or worksheets for research assignments, each grade level's social studies CBA, EasyBib directions, and online resources. EVENTS: Check the events happening in the Stahl Library.
