Welcome Stahl students and
parents,
I would like to take the
opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Michael Joshua and it
is a great privilege to be your child’s math teacher.
This is my fifth year of teaching and second year at Stahl.
I previously taught sixth grade at Firgrove Elementary.
I am excited to work together with you and your child to help them
become confident, skilled, and successful 7th grade mathematicians.
We have an interesting and challenging curriculum to learn
this year. Your children will have many
exciting experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in
the days ahead.

I believe that communication is one key to a great parent-teacher
relationship. I encourage you to utilize this web site often and
contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. I
will do my best to promptly reply to your inquiry. You can
send me a note, email me at
Joshuamh@puyallup.k12.wa.us or
call me at (253.840.8881).
I will also do my part by sending out an update every couple of
weeks to keep you informed on upcoming tests and what we will be
doing in class.
For individual concerns, I will contact you by phone, send a note
home, or email you (if an email
address is provided). Please feel free to participate in
your child’s school year as much as you are able. Helping
hands are always needed. Whether it is working with a small group
during class, or working with classroom displays and project
preparation, your help is encouraged and greatly
appreciated.
I am looking forward to a wonderful and
exciting year with you and your child!
